Ray Bulloch Second at Buffalo Bills WORCS
WORCS Racing Round Two Race Report

Cedar City, UT (2/2/2016) - Super ATV’s Ray Bulloch had a spectacular start, and he proved that big bore power can indeed keep up with the turbos when he finished second in the Pro Side by Side Unlimited Class at Buffalo Bills Casino and Resort. He was sidelined by mechanical problems in the Side by Side Pro Stock race and finished 14th.

In the Pro Unlimited race, Bulloch drove his naturally aspirated Polaris to his second consecutive runner-up finish in a class dominated by turbocharged vehicles. Bulloch admitted he was at a disadvantage of the turbo cars, but took the lead at the start and nearly won the race in the end.

“It seems like running the big bore was a disadvantage here because this course allowed the turbo cars to stay on the boost,” said Bulloch. “So I got out-horsepowered. The winner got past me, and I had to deal with a lot of lapped traffic. I got right behind him at the end, but I just ran out of time.”

In Pro Stock, Bulloch took the holeshot, but was immediately contending with steering issues. After pitting for repairs, he suffered another setback in the form of broken rear axle. He was 14th in the final order.

“I lost power steering and couldn’t steer to the right; it wouldn’t even go through the scoring chute,” said Bulloch. “I pitted and got my power steering back. I got back on track and was running third when we broke a rear axle. So I tried to salvage what I could and ran for as many points I could get.”

Bulloch’s sons were again following in their dad’s footsteps. Skyler Bulloch finished fourth in Production 700, while Stockton Bulloch was fourth in Youth 250 Production.

“This is both of their first seasons running in side by side,” said Bulloch. “Stockton is running a new car and we’re trying to work out a few gremlins. He finished the race and made a good showing. Skylar pulled the holeshot in his race. He had a few issues with contact, but had a solid finish in fourth. He pulled another holeshot in the Youth 700 class. He had a great battle for the lead, but he made contact with another racer and broke an A-arm.
