Las Vegas, NV (4/1/2016) - STV
Motorsports’ Blake Barnum finished second
in the WORCS Pro Stock SXS race at Lake Havasu,
AZ. Barnum joined teammates Andrei Isac, Mike
Colosimo, Gina Colosimo and Doug Eichner who
competed in a variety of classes driving Yamahas
and Polaris RZRs.

Barnum took the holeshot at the start of
the Pro Stock race and battled in top three
before earning his first-ever WORCS Pro podium.
The podium finish moves him to fourth in points
championship.
“It was a pretty sweet race,” said Barnum.
“The car was working awesome. This is our
best finish of the year. Coming around that
last lap, I made a pass on second place and
I was pumped. I love this track. I just found
my rhythm and went with it.”

Barnum runs his Polaris RZR with nearly all
of the components supplied by STV Motorsports,
as well as GBC Tires and Walker Evans Shocks.
“STV Motorsports built me a custom lightweight
cage and all of the fab stuff,” said Barnum.
“I run my car out of the STV shop, and I couldn’t
do it without them. The GBC Tires are awesome.
I’m running the 29 inch Dirt Commanders. They
are super lightweight. I was able to get a
great start with them and the deep stuff was
nothing with those things. The Walker Evans
Shocks put me on pillows this weekend. I made
a few adjustments after practice and that
was it. This was a huge change to my program
this year, and it’s really paying off.”
Andrea Isac finished eighth in the Pro Class.
The founder of STV Motorsports actually gave
Yamaha’s YXZ UTV its first national victory
in the SNORE Series. STV is a based on a dream
that came true for Isac.

“Racing was a dream of mine since I was a
kid,” said Isac. “Once I started racing, I
liked it so much I focused more on this industry.
We started as a distributor and then became
a manufacturer and importer.
“We build the roll cages for all of the racers
cars,” said Isac. “We build suspension components.
We have a full line of suspension components
for Yamaha, and we will have a full line of
them for the Polaris next month. We also sell
a lot of accessories, including dash panels,
LED light bars, switches and other accessories.”
Mike Colosimo finished 13th and 11th in the
pair of SXS 1000 Stock races. He currently
sits fifth in points. “It was hot and the
track was rough, but we had a super good weekend,”
said Colosimo. “STV is great. I’m doing all
of the sales and marketing there. We have
five cars: Two Yamahas and three Polaris RZRs.
It’s growing quickly.”

Gina Colosimo competed in the 900 Class here
and finished fifth in the second of two races.
“STV Motorsports and Addict Engines are a
big part of this,” said Gina Colosimo. “I’m
happy with fifth, and I’m looking forward
to Sand Hollow. I love side by side racing.
It was a little rutted up today, but being
able to move through it, the water and the
turns; I love Havasu.”

While Doug Eichner has had some bad luck
this year, he continues to be a great performer.
The multi-time Pro ATV champion’s experience
is a huge part of the team’s effort.

STV Motorsports' racer will return to SXS
competition as WORCS heads west to Utah April
15-17 for its race at Sand Hollow.
