Team Bradco’s Cody Bradbury scored a
runner-up finish in Pro Unlimited and stayed
in close points contention in the Pro Class
at the WORCS Racing Series SxS races at Glen
Helen Raceway. Linkon Leaverton continued
his streak of victories, winning the SXS Youth
700 Production race.

In Pro Unlimited, Bradbury finished just five seconds back. It marked Bradbury’s second podium finish in the class this season in his Polaris RZR XP1000 Turbo.
“Beau and RJ were driving great,” said Bradbury. “They checked out on me and I had nothing for them. At the very end, I got Beau on the last turn. This is good for me after the weekend I had in the last race. I’m glad to be back on the box.

“The GBC Dirt Commanders were awesome,” added Bradbury. “The Interparts Axles, Gates Belts, and Walker Evans Shocks; everything worked flawlessly today.”
In the Pro race, Bradbury finished sixth. However, with all of the top drivers in the title chase also having issues, Bradbury is just four points behind going into the final race of the season.
“I put my head down
at the start,” said Bradbury. “I
had a small mechanical issue, got back going
and came back for sixth. I finished ahead
of the guys I needed to do. It’s going
to be a free for all come Primm, that’s
for sure.”
Linkon Leaverton won his
seventh consecutive SXS Youth 700 Production
race. Leaverton, driving essentially a bone
stock Arctic Cat, is now 17 points ahead in
the title chase.

“The car has been
so good this year,” said Leaverton.
“Dean at D&P Performance is great
for our team. He is great at fixing the car
when I break it and he keeps it up front.”
Team Bradco will finish up the 2016 WORCS season as the series heads to Buffalo Bills Resort and Casino in Primm, NV for the season finale October 21-23.
