Thomas Brown
finished fourth overall at Soaring Eagle,
which was his first race back since Spring
Creek MX at the beginning of July
|
Brown returned to ATV Motocross racing after being out from an injury for the past few weeks. “This weekend at Soaring Eagle we came out just three weeks off the couch. The wrist is not 100 percent but we got some ok results, not where we want up on the box and winning races, but fourth overall and I’m looking forward,” explained Brown.

traffic in Pro Moto one after getting
a slow jump out of the gate
|
“First moto I had a bad jump and came out pretty close to the back but worked my way up to fifth. Second moto I had a better start going and ran into the back of Davi. Someone ran into the back of me and we all got locked together. After we got apart someone told me I was 20 seconds down right off the bat. I was able to work back up to fourth that moto and I was alright with that."

2 is pile up, but rebounded to finish
an impresive 4th place

Brown has faced and overcome
more adversity then ever before this season. “The
season as a whole has been rough for us. We had
injuries and bad luck in the beginning, a few
wrecks, a few broken bikes, it seemed like if
it could go wrong, it did. We did have some highlights
and good motos just not the results we wanted
this year, but its something to learn from.”

his 2015 Win

Brown’s support team and sponsors were more important than ever, standing behind him through everything the challenging season threw at him. “I can’t thank the program enough, everyone stepped up this year. Rich at Root River Racing has got me out here, it has been a long season but he stood behind me. It has been great to have him supporting me. DASA stepped up this year and we had a rocket ship motor. I couldn’t ask for a better setup with the Fox and JB components. Everyone is a huge part of this program.”
Brown will compete next at the Pro Challenge in memory of Caleb Moore at Oak Hill MX in Alvord, TX September 16-18. “Last year was my third year at it and we won, so I am not sure what is in store this year but I’m hoping another clean sweep,” stated Brown.
