Sepesi is beginning his rookie year as a
full time racer in the Pro class after winning
the Pro Sport National Championship in 2016.
“It is definitely a big learning curve,” said
Sepesi. The move into Pro class is never easy,
but Sepesi put in the work during the offseason
and is more than prepared for the challenges
that lie ahead. “We have been down in Florida
at my own private training facility riding
all winter. We have been focusing on trying
to get faster and ride the longer motos in
the Pro class.”
Sepesi took fifth in the heat race at Daytona,
setting himself up well for the main event
where he managed to battle his way to a very
respectable ninth place finish. “In the main
event I got a pretty good holeshot and rode
my own race. I learned some things, and I
am looking forward to the next race to use
everything we learned to improve.”
Despite the rough track, Sepesi’s Yamaha
was dialed in. “The Maxxis Tires are always
the best. All the top guys run them because
there is no doubt they are the best tire out
there, and with the Elka suspension combination
you can’t go wrong.” said Sepesi.

Sepesi has some great people in his program
fully supporting him throughout his rookie
Pro season. “Harold Goodman has been a big
part of my program for a lot of years, he
builds all my motors and race quads. My dad
is with me 24/7 and lives with me in Florida,
I know I always have someone here to support
me and get me where I need to be,” explained
Sepesi.
Sepesi is looking forward to the second around
at Texas where he can put all he learned at
Daytona to use. “It is back to more of a national
style track at Texas, and I really like the
track. I learned a lot of things so these
next couple of weeks I am going to adjust
my training.”
The hunt for the Pro Am championship will
also begin for Sepesi starting at Underground
MX. “I am looking for the championship in
the pro-am class. We will definitely be ready
and do our best,” stated Sepesi.
Watch for the #345 of Sepesi to return faster
and stronger than ever at the second round
of the 2017 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship
at Underground MX Park in Kemp, TX April 1-2.
