Honolulu Hills WORCS
Beau Baron Takes WORCS Pro
ATV & Pro Stock SxS Win at Round 3

Tires’ Beau Baron won both the Pro ATV and Pro
Stock SXS races during round three of the WORCS
off road series at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft,
CA. It marked his third consecutive Pro ATV win
and his second straight Pro Stock SXS victory.

Heavy rains caused by Winter Storm Lucifer flooded
the track on Friday. WORCS Officials worked hard
to get the track ready.
In the ATV race, Baron quickly made his move
on the holeshot winner. Taking the lead on lap
one, Baron never looked back, cruising to victory
to pad his points lead.

“I just hung it out a little more on the first
lap and I got a gap,” said Baron. “I just maintained
that for the rest of the race. I knew it was going
to be tough to see because I saw a little dust
coming up, so I knew I had to get up front early.
I ate dirt at the last couple of races, and I
didn’t want that to happen here. I got out front
and did what I could. My hat is off to CST Tires,
Elka and Curtis Sparks. It was important to get
out front fast and they helped make it happen.”
While mechanical issues sidelined Baron in the
Pro SXS, he dominated the field in the Pro Stock
SXS race. He pulled the holeshot in his bone stock
Polaris RZR XP 1000 and led every lap for the
win, which and moves to within one point of the
class leader with his second straight win.

“The Pro Stock RZR ran great,” said Baron. “It’s
just bone stock and that’s what I like; it showcases
driving skill. The CST Dingo Tires were perfect
for the conditions today. When it just starts
to dry out, they really shine. We’re working hard
with Doug and Elka this year to get the shocks
dialed in. I made the switch to Elka this year,
and it’s working out really well.”
Baron will be back in action as the series heads
to Lake Havasu City, AZ March 17-19.
