“We’re making a lot of progress with the bike,”
said Upperman. “The setup we’ve had since Millville
has been a huge confidence booster for me. I’ve
been able to run up front with those guys. I keep
pushing myself at home. There is still some time
to get on the box.”
Outfitted with Baldwin power and Hoosier Tires,
Upperman’s Honda was quick out of the gate. His
Motowoz Shocks helped deal with Unadilla’s combination
of high speed, hard pack and big jumps.
“The Hoosier tires came off the line and even
on that hard packed track they hooked up awesomely,”
said Upperman. “I had great starts in both motos
and the Baldwin motor was definitely pulling strong.
My Motowoz shocks were working great. I can’t
be happier at how the bike is running and how
the team is working.”
Rookie Tremellen went 11-10 in the motos for
an overall 10th-place finish. Tremellen equaled
his best finish of the season.

“I was hoping for ninth, but we had a good safe
weekend and scored a top 10,” said Tremellen.
“The track was fun. I like the pro section there.
It has some fun jumps on it along with some high-speed
sections. This is my fourth 10th place, so we
we’re hoping to improve that. I’m hoping to gain
some points and stay in the top ten in points.”
The 2017 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship
next heads to Redbud MX in Buchanan, MI July 29-30.
Both Upperman and Tremellen are looking forward
to Redbud and will be ready for action.
