The Arctic Cat Diesel 700
Super Duty ATV is built with
a torque-laden engine for the
biggest job.
It features a stout 700
twin-cylinder SOHC diesel engine
that delivers exceptional
low-end torque in addition
to 50 percent greater fuel
mileage than conventional
gasoline engines. For maximum
versatility, the engine
runs efficiently on six forms
of diesel fuel: DF 1, DF 2, DF
A Arctic, JP 5, JP 8 and up to
B20 Bio Diesel, the latter of
which burns cleaner than
conventional diesel to help
reduce emissions impact on
the environment. A glow plug
pre-heater assists for easy
starting.
For ease of operation
and durability, the Diesel
700 features the Duramatic
Automatic transmission with
an electronic 2WD/4WD/Differential
Lock that’s easily
activated by a handlebarmounted
switch. Start-ingear
ability and single lever
hand operated hydraulic disc
brakes complement the easy
usability of the Diesel 700.
The chassis is equally
versatile, boasting 10 inches
of suspension travel front
and rear in addition to 11
inches of ground clearance.
The front/rear racks offer
100/200-lb. capacities with
SpeedRack accessory options,
while a 3,000-lb. front winch
is a rugged tool for big jobs. |
