Combining premium features
with a chassis and motor built to
haul, the 2015 Arctic Cat Prowler
700 HDX XT sets the standard
in three-passenger side-by-side
versatility.
Several features define the 2015 Arctic Cat Prowler 700
HDX’s award-winning personality.
The 2-in-1 composite cargo box design
that tilts and can haul 1,000
lbs. of payload. For added versatility,
the box features detachable
bed sides that quickly transform
the HDX into a flatbed, plus multiple
tie-down options and wheel
well storage compartments that
make hauling easier than ever.
FOX FLOAT Air Assist coil-over
shocks on the rear suspension
feature adjustable air pressure to
accommodate heavy payloads.
Another key feature is the
sculpted 40/20/40 “bench” seat
that delivers comfortable seating
for three occupants. It’s part
of a cab system that includes
a fresh digital gauge and ROPS
round-tube canopy.
Easing driving duties is
the job for the 5-position tilt
steering column and Variable
Assist Electronic Power Steering
(EPS), which reduces the torque
necessary to steer the 2015 Arctic Cat Prowler 700 HDX when
changing direction with a loaded
cargo box or navigating tough
obstacles like rocks, deep mud or
logs. The result is a light steering
input effort, but with enough
feedback so the driver senses the
tire contact patch in relation to
the terrain.
Power comes from the
liquid-cooled H1 700 4-stroke
engine with the spot-on calibration
of Electronic Fuel Injection.
It’s complemented by the
Duramatic Automatic transmission,
which features High/
Low/Reverse/Neutral/Park and
dynamic engine braking.
And like all Prowler models,
the 2015 Arctic Cat Prowler 700 HDX has confidence-inspiring
10 inches of suspension
travel matched by 10 inches of
ground clearance.
The XT has a 25-lb. underhood
storage capacity, tilt-steering,
and 14-in aluminum wheels. |
