and deluxe models topping out at over $800 for
a complete kit which includes the plow and winch
for power assisted lifting. For the SxS crowd,
expect to pay between $500 and $1000 depending
again on your weapon of choice or preferred
model.
Installation on most models is straight forward
and fairly simple, requiring the basic hand
tools and an hour or more of your time. If you
do not have a winch mounted, you will need to
add in the wiring which happens to be straight
forward and simple on most models, with most
using color coded wiring harnesses to aide those
not so mechanically inclined. The biggest question
to ask when inquiring about a plow and winch
if already installed is to make sure the two
are compatible as some plows mounting will need
some modifications to work or clearance with
your current winch set up.
