The feeling of this event is one of friendship
and family and you get attended to right off the
start as you enter the facility and are politely
directed to an area that suits your weekend needs
from day riders to full on hardcore campers, there
was ample room and parking. The staff was eager
to help or offer assistance from simple directions
to medical help if required. This should be expected
as Fisher's crew had dedicated themselves to positive
promotion of our sport and this event was proof
that their attitude continues long after the cameras
are put away. The loyal Fishers fans were anxious
to meet and greet with the staff and were quickly
buying up their Fishers swag to remember their
weekend adventure!

Brian
Fisher pulled out all the stops on the parking
areas providing many spots - even some for
just the day riders & some for the full
time vacationers!

Vendors
row was nothing short of packed, yet very
unique with merchants from all walks of
life on hand including wood carving, trailers
& RV's |
Vendors are always wanting to sell you something,
but in this type of venue it sometimes is more
about getting the information out to the public.
From wood carvings to full blown toy haulers,
vendors row was packed and ready to do business.
Smiles and handshakes were the norm as riders
pulled into specific parking areas perfectly located
throughout the main hub of the events. Row after
row of ATV and SxS formed as the riders did some
tire kicking and purchasing of new items to make
their riding more enjoyable.

The
ever-present big-rig of Can-Am was on hand
providing demo rides, and the biggest hit
- their new Commander UTV! Check out the
size of the wheels, tires & suspension
on the Gorilla Axel model on the right!
Mud Bogs will bow down to this UTV! |
Can Am and Yamaha both had their demo rigs on
hand as each manufacture stressed its selling
points to perspective buyers and both offered
demo rides throughout the weekend. For Can Am,
this event would serve as a first for many to
catch a ride in the new Commander SxS and the
Can Am crew was kept busy all weekend as it was
by far the most popular vehicle requested to demo!

The
fans packed the stands at the Bucky Convington
concert area as they eagerly anticipated
his arrival! |
The event seemed to roll on like a well oiled machine
as the days events flowed into each other. Country
superstar Bucky Covington even grabbed a handful
of throttle as he took his turn at the obstacle
course! Even a nice dismount over the bars couldn't
keep him from having fun as he remounted and ripped
his way to the finish line!
The show that Bucky was about to put on would
make his time behind the bars seem meek as the
crowds built and the concert started! There wasn't
an open seat in the house as the performance had
everyone cheering and singing along!

Brian
Fisher was sure to hand out many autographed
posters during the event for his fans, both
young & adult! |
The fun seemed endless as the weekend progressed
and finally drew to a close. This years Reunion
was a major success and looks to grow even bigger
next year. With fans clamoring for a moment with
Brian Fisher to grab a quick word or an autograph,
there shouldn't be any shortage of fans ready to
see what will be on tap in 2011! This homerun did
not come easy and the work to get it combined into
a stellar event is just more proof how dedicated
the Fisher team is to providing a family friendly
weekend of riding and recreation.
Our sport is under constant attack and to have
someone so involved in promoting, saving and growing
what we all love so much is inspiring. As deep
as the economy has hit the majority of us, the
success of this event is a testament to what can
be done to keep the family in our type of recreation
together and moving forward at a reasonable cost
for a weekend of family fun!
I think the "family" just keeps getting
bigger!
