Kawasaki had several of the ATV and SxS models available for the public to get up close and personal with. Kawasaki featured both their sport oriented Kawasaki Teryx and Kawasaki Mule workhorse vehicle. Each model has an option of Realtree APG HD Camo straight from the factory.

In addition to all the new products available at the Great American Outdoor show, there were many exhibits that were advertising their hunts around the world. White tail deer hunts to big game hunts in Africa, you can speak directly to the businesses that offer these epic-hunting adventures.

Free with each paid entry are multiple seminars, and demonstrations one can attend. Some skills you can learn about while attending the seminars are; calling tactics, filming your own hunt, elk hunting, predator hunting, and much more. Each day, there are also 10-15 demonstrations that take place. Some of the demonstrations include: how to butcher a deer, casting tips, trout cooking, bass fishing, just to name a few.

There is also scheduled entertainment including country music star Brantly Gilbert that will take the stage Saturday night. Known for his hit songs, “Bottoms Up”, “Kick it in the Sticks”, and many more, Gilbert will headline the show with singer/songwriter Cheryl LuQuire, local music talent, and “HeadHunters TV” Outdoor Channel star, Nate Hosie. Tickets can be purchased online for $30 for stadium seating/$35 for floor seating.

Because of a dispute regarding the display of the controversial AR-15 rifle in 2012, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show as it was known then, was cancelled in 2013. For the 2014, the show is now promoted by the NRA and the name was changed to the Great American Outdoor show. That didn’t slow down the show attendance however, the show picked up right were it left off with many anxiously anticipating its return.

With its astonishing number of exhibits and attendees, it is near impossible to see everything the show has offered in just one day. The show cost $12 for a one-day ticket and $20 for a two-day ticket. There is also a discount for senior citizens ($10) and children under 6 are $6. Whether you are a hunter, fisherman, avid camper, ATV rider, or just enjoy the outdoors, the Great American Outdoor show is well worth the money and your time!
