(Glamis, California) - A few years
back, H-Bomb Films, makers of the “Huevos”
series of ATV videos, promoted an event in San Bernardino
called the Dirt Riot. It was comprised of freestyle,
racing, music, and vending. You may have seen Dirt
Riot and Dirt Riot 2. Well now, H-Bomb Films has
taken the Dirt Riot to a new level: the dirt has
changed to sand.
Glamis, CA, is home to the first of what’s
to become an annual event called Sand Riot, which
was held on December 1st, 2007. The event was
produced by H-Bomb Films and Polaris Industries
near the Glamis Beach Store. Admission was free
and entertainment was featured all day long. Basically,
this was a way for Polaris to step up and show
the Sand Capital of the World how awesome their
new Outlaw & Rzr perform in the Dunes. Polaris
has really stepped up the quality of their ATV’s
and have stepped into the sport market with their
new 450MX and 525-S (straight axle) quads.

For the release
of Huevos 10, H-Bomb Films organized the
"Sand Riot" at the Glamis Sand
Dunes, and they teamed up with Polaris,
which was a perfect fit with their new
Outlaw 525 S model. With thanks to Polaris,
one lucky person took home an Outlaw 525S
accessorized with everything any sand
enthusiast would want for riding in the
dunes, and even in stock trim we had a
blast ripping up the sand dune on the
new Outlaw

Many Polaris-related vendors turned out that
day and it was great to see an industry icon,
Doug Eichner, vending and hanging out at the event.
Other vendors included Dana Creech Racing, Dragonfire,
Attitude & Stellar Toy Haulers, Sand Hustlers,
Flexx Bars, Sand Addiction Magazine, Quad Magazine,
Side By Side Magazine, FMF, Fox Shox, Alba Action
Sports, Kicker, Jagged X, Custom Motorsports,
Mafia Industries, Highlifter, Luv to Camp, and
Desert RV Outlet. A big thank you goes out to
them all.

Doug Eichner
was able to make his Polaris Outlaw 525S
float as he hydroplaned it across a rare
pond of water found at Glamis after the
heavy rains the night before the event.

keyboard for a set of strings with her band

Jagermeister, knowing many people in the off-roading
community consume alcoholic beverages, stepped
up to provide their mobile music stage to promote
responsible drinking and no underage drinking.
Best of all, Jagermeister did this knowing that
alcoholic beverages would not be sold, nor allowed
at the event.
Since we had such an incredible stage and sound
to deal with, we had to get some great bands to
play the event. Seemless opened the event with
Quad Magazine’s own Cassandra Clawson playing
the bass for her band, Pretty In Stereo, up next.
Evolocity and Duress tore up the stage next preparing
the Sand Riot crowd for the headliner to come.
National act, Death By Stereo then took the stage
slamming their instruments to provide an incredible
rock sound.
