Barons Haydays Event Report

If it’s racing that you’re more interested in, Haydays won’t disappoint. Hundreds of racers were in attendance this year from the United States, Canada and even as far away as Europe to race their snowmobiles down the flat grass dragstip.

This event attracts some of the best grass drag racers and machines in the world, with classes ranging from stock, all the way up to Top Fuel/Outlaw sleds. Winners would lay claim to the worlds largest cash pay out in grass drag racing.

The second annual Terracross Championship also took place this year at Haydays. Thousands of onlookers lined all sides of the track to see the new Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS and Scrambler ATV.

We asked Joe Duncan what the future holds for this great event and he said, “The future of Terracross is just what our business model says, we are going to places that already have existing crowds at it. It’s a show it’s not about racing it’s entertainment and this is entertainment.” If you’re interested in checking out more Terracross racing, a show in Las Vegas at the SEMA Expo is in the works for the near future.

FOX was also on hand and threw a large VIP party for attendees. With pro racers signing autographs and the newest products on display, FOX had great hospitality for all their fans and customers to check out while you were there.

Haydays is not just for adults, but also for the whole family. Large inflatables were brought in to keep the kids entertained along with an RC car track to test your driving skills.

There is, of course, many food vendors located throughout the event for when you get hungry. Held annually, the next Haydays will be September 6th-7th of 2014. So if you’re an ATV or snowmobile enthusiast, Haydays is definitely something you’re going to want to attend!
