Buyers Guide to Utility ATVs & SxS / UTV Vehicles
::Continued::
Most side-by-sides offer good sized cargo beds
that are capable of hauling heavy loads. They
also are a bit more comfortable for long excursions
than an ATV and provide plenty of cargo space
for extra supplies and gear. Certain accessories
for UTV can also give added protection from the
elements and are driven more like a car, which
can be easier to operate than an ATV. Some also
come equipped with removable GPS systems, like
the new Can-Am Commander LTD, which can be incredibly
useful for mapping and keeping track of your location
both in the woods and on the trail.

John
Deere's 825i Side-by-Side is at home both
on the farm & in the woods |
Also, the recently released John Deere Gator
825i UTV features an extra-large hydraulic dump
bed, that is plenty large enough to haul any deer
out of the woods, and it also could handle larger
game better than most over SxS vehicles on the
market.
Prices for UTV’s can vary greatly and range
anywhere from about $9,995 - $19,000. One proven
and reliable UTV is the Yamaha Rhino700, which
was the first performance UTV to be produced.
The Yamaha Rhino has been a very popular model
with hunters and offers a good variety of aftermarket
parts and accessories.

What will
be your vehicle of choice to toke on your
next hunt ATV or UTV / SxS?
|
The search for an ATV or UTV can be both fun
and challenging; therefore, we recommend doing
your research. Check out the specs on a few of
the machines you are interested in; all manufacturers
have a complete list of specifications for their
ATV’s and UTV’s right on their websites.
Once you’ve narrowed down your selections,
visit a few dealerships, ask a lot of questions,
and get opinions from friends and others who already
own ATV’s and UTV’s for hunting. With
so many choices out there, it is almost guaranteed
you will find the right utility quad or side-by-side
to suit and enhance your hunting adventures.
