Moto-Xperts Owner Toby Reed

Owner and founder of Moto-Xperts, Toby Reed, grew up racing ATV’s and after graduating from college with a business and marketing degree, he attended MMI. After graduating from MMI, Reed began working for a local dealership as a technician and soon moved up to a service manager position. “After working for the dealership, I decided I wanted to start my own business so I was working out of my garage at first,” said Toby Reed. Word of his quality workmanship and quick turnaround time soon spread through the ATV community and Reed’s business began to grow. “We hired three employees to start with and we just hired a couple more people and are now up to six,” he said.

ATVriders.com visited the Moto-Xperts Race Shop at their recent Open House before the Ironman GNCC, which attracted out a large crowd of racers to check out shop

Moto-Xperts now occupies a huge shop in Lafayette, Indiana and offers just about any kind of service for ATV’s that one could desire. “We have a state of the art service department, an in-house dyno, a show room and even a rider’s lounge for people to come and just hang out,” said Reed.

Moto-Xperts has built their own in-house flow bench, allowing them to do their own porting work and also custom valving and CNC head design, with several designs available in order to ensure that every aspect of the ATV engine in in perfect sync.
