Muddy Bottoms ATV Park
::Continued::
ATVriders.com:
Now that we’ve covered all of the amenities,
let’s talk about the course layout and where
the guys can be riding at.
Jeff
Drost:
We like to provide a really good bit of entertainment
for our guests so we’re going to have a motocross
track for ATV’s and SxS’s and it'll be a mix
of mud bog pit and a mudder cross ttrack.
It’s got some dry land and some mud pits and
some deep water and basically these guys are
putting lots and lots of money into their
machines for horsepower like turbos and nitrous
and the pit is going to be a spot where these
guys can really shine. We are also going to
have a truck drag pit with shallow mud so
that'll be really sweet! Then a truck bog
pit which will require something really nasty
to get through it and it the other side! We’re
also going to have a sand drag pit with a
light tree so these guys can really show their
horsepower.

ATVriders.com:
So you’re going to have all of these events
scheduled out in advance?
Jeff
Drost:
Yes, we will have it all planned out and try
to space everything out. We will have some
sort of races at every event we have.
ATVriders.com:
Will the trails be mapped out in any way or
how will all of that be handled?
Jeff
Drost:
We are going to have an entire map of the
park available for a GPS, and we will also
have an App on the phone where you can map
out the entire park and see where you’re at
as opposed to where the food and vendor stuff
is all at. We’re also going to print maps
to bring on the trail just incase but also
we’re going to color coordinate the map, so
incase you get turned around and need help,
you can say ‘hey, I’m in the blue area’. So
we’re going to do everything we can while
you’re hear to keep you safe and give easy
access.
ATVriders.com:
So we’re looking at this big sand area here,
what’s this all about?
Jeff
Drost:
We’re looking at a big eleven acre mud bog.
It’s going to have islands in the middle and
it’s surrounded by a levy so we can regulate
the water levels and some places will be ankle
deep for some of the younger or less skilled
riders to play in and some will be waist deep
or even a little deeper for the guys who like
to test their skills. There will be a big
dry area right next to it to park your bike
and hangout and watch the guys messing around.
It’s really neat and located closely to the
rest of the amenities with three access points
so you’ll never be stuck in traffic getting
here and you’re also only about a five minute
drive back to the campers area. It’s far enough
away to come out here and party but close
enough to get back in not too long of a time.

ATVriders.com:
You’re also going to be schedule and running
a race series this year?
Jeff
Drost:
I started a series called Xtreme
Mud Racing Series and we’re mainly going
to be focusing on the Texas and Louisiana
and Mississippi areas to have our races and
it’s kind of a muddercross style series, with
a lot of fast action, with some deep water,
and good mud holes. These guys spend a lot
of money on their quads and we really want
to let them showcase their machines. We are
going to have a five race series with a points
system that way they chase the series and
try to get those year end points and be the
bigger winner of the XMR race series.
