Pro ATV Motocross Racer, Joe Byrd, raced with the Sonic Edge Anti-Roll System at several AMA ATV MX National events in 2009
Out on the track, the Sonic Anti Roll System provides added stability in the corners by reducing body roll and allowing for faster cornering. The system can be used in all types of racing from TT to cross country and even motocross. “The Sonic system can be dialed in for specific track types and conditions so you can customized how it handles for any type of situation. It makes the quad feel more stable going into a corner so you are able to hold a higher speed going in and coming out,” said pro ATV motocross racer Joe Byrd, who has been using the unit for the 2009 season and plans to continue using it in his 2010 set up as well.

Pro GNCC ATV racer, Jarrod McClure also tested the Sonic Edge Anti Roll System for cross country racing and is currently testing different configurations for next season. “The Anti Roll System is pretty easy to install. It seems to help in corners and with off camber areas as well. The system does add some spring rate and will make your suspension a little stiffer, but you can easily counteract that by running a softer shock set up,” said McClure. “I’ve been trying out a lighter bar set up for next season because I think that will be the way to go for my machine so that it will be a smoother ride all around,” McClure added.

GNCC Pro ATV Racer, Jarrod McClure, tested the Sonic Edge Anti Roll System on his Yamaha YFZ450 for cross country racing, and don't be surprised if he doesn't race with it on his new Polaris Outlaw for 2010

Upon testing the system and working with different configurations, many ATV racers are quick to point out that it is very important to make sure that each side of the system is set up equally in order to ensure the best possible handling and performance out on the track and trail. “If it isn’t set up equally on both sides, it kind of defeats the purpose of having an anti roll system. It does take a little time to dial everything in, but the results are worth it,” said McClure.

At Sonic Offroad, their passion for off-road racing is what drives them to continuously come up with new and innovative ways to give racers an advantage in competition. The Sonic Edge Anti Roll System is one of those products that could quite possibly become something you see every pro ATV level racer running in the near future in order to give them that added edge when championships are on the line.
