Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic ATV Overview
|
The
2008 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Auto is
the lowest priced ATV in the Arctic Cat
line-up with 2WD/4WD with front differential
lock. This macho, rugged machine can perform
any task asked of it and still want to go
hunting, fishing, or camping.
The 2008 Arctic Cat 400
4x4 Automatic is powered by a torquey 376
cc, air/oil cooled four-stroke engine with
temperature-controlled fan and Auto Electronic
Choke for simple “one touch”
starting. The fully independent, double
A-arm front suspension eats up gnarly terrain
and like the rear suspension features preload-adjustable
shocks.
This best-in-class 2008
Arctic Cat 400 4x4 is equipped with redesigned
slimline SpeedRack featuring smaller diameter
tubing to reduce weight while the contoured
shape and accessory attachment mounts lower
the height of the rack. The 400 also receives
a full-lock front differential (with a convenient
handlebar-mounted lever), floating brake
calipers, a redesigned hydraulic foot brake
system with remote fluid reservoir, and
a heavy-duty rear axle.
Other premium features include
a 2-inch “automotive-style”
receiver hitch, handlebar-mounted electronic
2WD/4WD switch for quick shifts, 25-in.
Goodyear Rawhide RS tires, and large 6.5-gallon
gas tank. And there is the best-in-class
12” ground clearance, rack capacity
(100 lbs front/200 lbs rear), and 10”
of suspension travel.
Adding convenience to the
2008 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Auto are features
like Start-In-Gear, zero-maintenance suspension
bushings and sealed driveshafts, a full-length
plastic skid plate that glides over rough
terrain with single-lever, hand-operated
hydraulic disc brakes (front and rear),
and a digital instrument pod with 14 indicators
such as speed, odometer, dual trip meters,
hour meter, clock, and fuel level.
No matter where you ride
or why you own an ATV, the 2008 Arctic Cat
400 4x4 Automatic can be custom tailored
to meet every demand. Arctic Cat –
More To Go On.
