Arctic Cat 650 H1 4x4 ATV Overview

The 650 H1 proved to the world and every other ATV manufacturer that it is one tough nut to crack when raced in the World Powersports Association’s brutal rock, log, and mud obstacles. The 650 H1 in stock trim brought home a Quad Terrain championship in its inaugural 2006 season deeming this a “race ready” quad. The 650 H1 is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 641 cc four-stroke engine designed by Arctic Cat for massive low-end and mid-range torque. The automatic transmission will take riders through or over just about anything without so much as a whimper. The 650 H1’s are loaded for any work, play, or race you demand of them. The plastic bodywork calls attention to the H1 with extra-wide fenders to protect the rider from mud and water spray, “cat-eye” headlights add style and excellent illumination, and integrated full-length plastic floorboards enhance sure-footed traction. The seat is wider for increased comfort, and the seat latch allows quick removal and access to a handy tool tray. Handling the power and torque of the H1 is an equally capable chassis that includes a double A-arm fully independent rear suspension (FIS) and double A-arm front with adjustable-preload shocks and 10-inches of suspension travel. Ground clearance is a best-in-class 12 inches which, coupled with a full-length high-density plastic skid plate, gives riders the confidence to clear large obstacles without damaging the frame. Complementing the all-powerful goodies on this machine are features designed for comfort and convenience. Newly designed slimline SpeedRacks lost some weight while still offering dozens of accessory attachment options. Going from 2WD to 4WD is as simple as pressing an electronic shift button, while activating the full-lock front differential requires only a flip of a handlebar-mounted lever. A 2-in. “automotive-style” receiver hitch, long-range 6.5-gallon gas tank, digital instrument pod (MPH, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, clock, and fuel level), and Start-In-Gear capability complete the package.
