- The Polaris youth line continues
to be best-selling and a leader in rider safety
with features such as a removable ignition key
and electronic throttle safety control. For
2010, Polaris is offering four youth models
for riders 12 years old and up, the Sportsman
90, Outlaw 90, Outlaw 50 and red-hot RANGER
RZR 170.

To ensure safe and enjoyable
riding, Polaris offers a wide variety of safety
features on its youth models such as speed controls
enabling adults to set a maximum speed control
limit. Other safety features include daytime
running lights to increase daytime visibility,
full floorboards, heat shields; and seatbelts,
color-coded pedals, parking brake and side nets
on RANGER RZR 170.
Polaris Youth Models: include daytime running
lights, removable ignition key,
electronic throttle control, heat shields, full
floor boards (ATV), sidenets (RZR 170), and
3-point seat belts (RZR 170).
All Polaris youth models feature an easy to
use electric starter with a backup kick-starter
on the ATVs.

Polaris Youth models purchased from an authorized
dealer come with a high visibility whip flag,
speed limiter and safety video. Accompanied
with the Youth models is a DOT-approved helmet
(two for RANGER RZR 170) to teach kids the importance
to wearing the proper safety gear. In the U.S.,
dealers provide safety training for parents
and rider with every purchase.
Polaris youth ATVs not only lead
the way with safety features but are easy-to
use and fun to ride. Each model is a mini version
of its full-sized counterpart and includes electric
start and an automatic transmission.
