Dalton Millican ATV MX National Series Race Report - Round 1

Dalton Millican - Round 1 - Pell City, AL
Dalton Millican will be sure to prove why he moved up to the Production A class for the 2009 season
Pell City, AL (3/25/2009) - Dalton Millican opened his ATV MX National Motocross Series in Pell City, Alabama this past weekend.

Millican had a busy off-season preparing his Lonestar Honda for a big move up from Production C class to Production A class. To help in this big move Millican is proud to announce signing with two newsponsors, Hoosier Racing Tires and K&N Filters.

Hoosier Racing Tires is one of the biggest names in the business and they have set their sights on the ATV world with an all new MX tire.

K&N Filters the World's Best Air Filter has been winning races for years in all forms of motorsports.

Millican with his new found traction from Hoosier Racing Tires and horsepower from K&N Filters got the hole shot in moto 1 on Saturday and made his way to a 4th place finish. Sunday's moto 2 found Millican mid pack when a tumble put him all the way in the back of the pack ending up 17th.

Millican started the weekend not happy with how his bike was handling but after Andy Lambert from Custom Axis made some adjustments to the shocks the bike felt great.

During the offseason Millican spent some time in Florida riding with Joe Byrd to improve his lap times. Millican looks forward to continue working with Joe.

Dalton would like to thank the following sponsors:
Mark Pickens of MPE Motorsports, Dan Fisher of Lonestar Racing, Jeff Maxey
of Maximum Cycle, Andy Lambert of Custom Axis, Chris Harris of Fly Racing, Tom Bogner of Lucas Oil, PJ Harvey of PJ1 and Keith Parker of KPM, Neil Cowman of Hoosier Racing Tire and Bob Harris of K&N Filters
