Franklin, PA (9/7/2006) - Tim Farr
brings a solid points lead into round seven of the
2006 ATVA Extreme Dirt Track Nationals this week
as the series rolls into Tri-City Speedway in Oil
City, Pennsylvania, this weekend, which means his
competitors will be desperate to make up ground
on the leader.
Keith Little, of Russellville, Alabama, and
Harold Goodman, of Romulus, Michigan, both have
a mathematical chance of catching Farr, but with
just two rounds remaining in the series, they'll
have to make up some points in the first-ever
Extreme Dirt Track National at the 3/8-mile clay
oval Tri-City Speedway.
Promoter Rich Hetrick is offering free camping
as an extra enticement for fans. Gates open at
noon Thursday, September 7, and practice sessions
begin at 4 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, practice
sessions begin at 8 a.m. with heats and mains
to follow. Pro and Pro-Am practice begins at 5:30
p.m. Pro, Pro-Am and other selected class main
events will start at 7 p.m.
Sunday is reserved as a rain date.
