2009 ATVA Extreme Dirt Track Nationals
Race Schedule Announced
Pickerington, OH (11/19/2008)
- The ATVA Extreme Dirt Track Series race dates
are now finalized for 2009, and all but one race
location have been confirmed.
With the down turn in the economy, the promoters
of the Extreme Dirt Track series have decided
to shorten the race schedule down from eight rounds
to just six rounds for 2009, and the remaining
race locations are more centrally located to the
majority of the racers with both Arkansas and
North Carolina locations dropped from the schedule,
which will make it more economical for the racers
to attend all the rounds and compete for a championship.
Also, none of the Extreme Dirt Track Series races
conflict with any GNCC or ATV Motocross Nationals,
so it will allow racers the opportunity to compete
in multiple series without schedule conflicts.
The shortened six round race schedule also allows
for non-conflicting rain make up dates to be announced
if necessary.
The 2009 Season will kick-off in Ava, Missouri
at the Ozark Mountain Raceway on May 30th and
the race season will wrap-up on September 19th
at I-81 Speedway in Greenville, Tennessee, and
the six rounds of racing are spread out over the
summer months to allow for plenty of time to prepare
for each up coming event.
All the locations for 2009 have been determined
accept for Round 5, which is tentatively scheduled
to be held in Illinois, but the race location
has not yet been finalized, but it will be announced
in the coming weeks.
