Australian ATV MX Racer, Luke Beechey, USA Bound
2006 ATVA Motocross Nationals

Luke Beechey
(1/13/06) - With 2006 ATVA MX Nationals set to begin in less than one month, Australia’s Yamaha Rider, Luke Beechey, has left the down under and has arrived in the USA to prepare for the opening round of the series in San Bernardino, CA at Glen Helen Raceway. In 2005, Beechey competed in the final two rounds of the series in the Production B and 4 Stroke B classes to get his feet wet across the pond against the fastest MX racers in the World, and he has been hooked ever since, so he has packed his bags and moved to the U.S.A to push his racing career to a higher level. “After two great seasons in Australia, I have decided to tackle all 14 rounds of the 2006 ATVA GNC MX Championship in the U.S.A. In season 2004 and 2005, I achieved everything in which I set out to do with the exception of winning the Australian Championships where I placed 2nd ’’, said Beechey.

When asked why he decided to make the move to the USA, and not go for the Australian Championship, Beechey replied, “Australian Motorcycle riders have been gaining a lot of exposure in the last few years and I hope that we can help open the door for more Aussie ATV racers that would like to race in the U.S.A. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has helped me get here, and I look forward to what the future will bring. Melissa ( my fiancé ) and I are living in Ohio where I will prepare for the upcoming season ’’

It is great to have this talented Aussie rider competing in the ATVA MX Nationals, and he is still sorting out his sponsors and looking forward to meeting new people and companies in 2006, so if you see Luke Beechey at the races, be sure to give him a warm welcome.
