Bowling Green, KY (5/23/2007) - Round
7 of the ATVA ITP/Moose Motocross Nationals heads to Ballance
Moto X, home of GNCC pro racer Bill Ballance, for Memorial
Day weekend. The series returns for its second annual
stop at the legend's course, much to the racers' delight.
"It's great to have Bill Ballance involved in this
series. He plays a big part in the track layout and maintenance
for this event, and with his expertise at work, there
should be plenty of passing and great racing in store
for the weekend," explained series promoter Sam Gammon.
Not only did the venue earn rave reviews from racers,
but also spectators in its inaugural event, as large
numbers of ATV fans made the Ballance round one of the
most heavily attended in 2006. This weekend's racing
should attract many of the local riders and fans, out
to enjoy the first holiday weekend of summer and see
some great ATV motocross racing.
Lending its support to the event and racers will be
Moose Racing, whose semi trailer is in route to Bowling
Green for the weekend. Moose produces a large variety
of products for the ATV racer and ATV sport enthusiast,
and will no doubt have a full display on hand. And motocross's
favorite caterers, Tip & Ina Tipton, will be cooking
up a feast for the participants on Saturday night, courtesy
of series presenting sponsor, Parts Unlimited. "Parts
Unlimited is committed to the ATV racer and enthusiast,
always looking for the newest and best products to add
to its catalog. What better place to be involved than
the ATVA series, now in its 21st year? We're glad to
have the opportunity to send Tip to take care of the
racers and their families this weekend," said Hylton
Beattie.
The ITP/Moose AMA Pro ATV National Championship presented
by Parts Unlimited continues in two weeks at the legendary
High Point Raceway, June 16-17, in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania.
