– BBCS Performance is proud to introduce
an all new Battery Support Box with top bracket
for the 2008 thru 2010 DS 450. This box is made
from Chromoly 4130 and powder coated with a wrinkle
black finish. The top bracket is billet machined
from 6061 T6 aluminum stock. Both have been specifically
designed and engineered to support the stock battery
and solenoid.
The BCS Battery Box has increased
strength, 4 mounting points and the battery is
cushioned by rubber grommets which isolate the
battery from the impacts of racing. The box also
includes mounting points for the solenoid which
relocates it from under the battery to a more
protected area on the back of the box. This BCS
Battery Box allows easy removal of the rear fender
as opposed to the stock configuration where the
battery and solenoid also had to be removed
The optional billet machined top cover secures
the battery in place and has channels machined
to hold the battery cables in place. As with all
BCS Performance components we race what we build
and this battery box and support have been thoroughly
tested in racing applications.
