Mesa, AZ (2/8/2013) - Team DragonFire is definitely ready to heat things up in the Nevada desert at round 2 of the 2013 WORCS (World Off Road Championship Series), set to go off February 8-10th at Buffalo Bill's in Primm, NV. After a washout round #1 at Canyon MX Park in Peoria, AZ, where Ken Benson finished a solid second place before being rushed to the emergency room, the team is looking for better this weekend… Literally.

"I can finally see normally again, but my eyes are still pretty bloodshot," says Benson, who soldiered on despite having no eye protection for most of the race at the previous round. "The bad news is that now I can see just how much mud is still packed up into the undercarriage… it isn't pretty!" Torrential rains and quagmire conditions made the race in Arizona a survival run, so coming away with his eyesight intact and second place in the points standings is something Team DragonFire is proud of.

Although he was pretty much flying blind, the DragonFire RZR was still able to go where Benson pointed it because of a key swap to the latest ITP Blackwater tires. "Even though conditions are expected to be better in Primm, you can bet I am bringing the ITP TerraCross and Blackwaters to Nevada to be ready for any track conditions we face, along with plenty of extra tear-offs for my visor this time," quips Benson.

After having his first race cut short by a rock hidden in the muck at Round #1, DragonFire's National Sales Manager Brice Ginn is also looking forward to Primm. "I won't crap out at the casino," says the rookie racer. "Seriously, I am really looking forward to seeing what I can do in dryer conditions. Hopefully I can give our team sponsors a shout out from the podium this time!"
