Hot Quads Announces
DRR National ATV Motocross Race Team
Opelika, AL (3/5/2009) - All
ten of the DRR national race team drivers will
be embarking on a special journey as the 09' ATVA
MX series kicks-off in Pell City , AL. The first
race of the year will present such challeges as
dialing in new engine combos, waking up those
driving skills from their winter hibernation,
and overcoming stiff competition to find their
way atop the coveted podium. Many of the 08'team
have returned to provide leadership and experience
to this years rookies , and continue the legacy
of the "Dream Team".
The DRR National Race Team was founded by Marc
Smith owner of Hot Quads , for the purpose of
bringing exposure to DRR atv's and providing recognition
to highly skilled youth drivers, " I hope
these young racers can use the team atmosphere
and media attention as a lauching pad for their
future racing endevors" says Smith. The first
points of the year will be awarded on March 22nd
and the ten Hot Quad riders are sure to get their
fair share to begin the run for the championship
titles.
The three cvt classes (50-70-90 ) are the focus
of the teams efforts, these classes reflect the
current model line-up of the DRR fleet, the goal
of the team is to put DRR atv's on the podium
more often than any other competing brand , validating
its off-road domination reputation. "We have
a huge amount of talent this year , its going
to be exciting " Smith exclaims. The award

Speed Shop located in Opelika, Al and their rig
can be found at most National events where they
supply parts and support to the mini quad racing
