Clearwater, FL (9/15/06) - Hungry
for maximum power for your Polaris Predator? Falicon
can modify your crank and cylinder for impressive power
gains.
First, we bore your cylinder 2mm larger. Next, we
stroke your crank and add a Falicon Knife® Rod.
We supply a special piston kit designed to handle the
power of this huge engine. The end result is an engine
that is almost 25% larger than stock with impressive
power gains.
The first Boomer kit was raced by the Polaris Factory
team at Greenbrier, Arkansas on September 25, 2004.
They won their first National Event. At the next event
in Texas, the Boomer won again. That's two National
race wins in three attempts. "The Boomer”
was easily the fastest quad in the race said engine
builder Doug Nicholas. Thanks to Doug for all his hard
work in helping Daryl Rath and Polaris score their first
Open Pro Class victory.
The oversquare Predator engine responds well to a longer
stroke crank, which requires a longer rod for the piston
to clear the crank. We build these 73.5mm cranks with
our Knife Rod, which is far stronger than stock. This
new kit does not require a spacer plate under the cylinder.
It looks completely stock. You should also consider
larger valves, carb work and at the very least, an exhaust
pipe. This kit is designed for the professional engine
builder who is capable of tuning the larger engine.
