FOX Racing Shox Releases New Mini ATV Float Suspension
Float C Piggyback Reservior & Basic Float Shock

Fox Racing Shox's New Long Travel Float C Shocks Weigh in at just 3.5 Pounds
Watsonville, CA (11/30/2007)– Fox Racing Shox recently announced that they would be releasing two shock packages for mini quads that are based on the 450 shock designs. According to Fox’s Mark Duessell, Fox has been working closely with DRR ATV’s to produce a product that rivals that of the 450 quad shocks that have been such a huge success.

“We think the air shocks are a great idea for the mini quads. Kids grow so fast that their needs are always changing and it really takes a lot to keep their suspension dialed in. Our air shocks provide easier adjustment and are also very light weight compared to standard shocks.” Stated Mark.

Fox has developed a long travel shock package called the “Float C” that is based on the full size shocks that go along with DC long travel A-Arms. The long travel Float C’s feature a piggyback reservoir with an external adjustment that weighs just 3.5 pounds, which is about half the weight of the competition’s shocks. The only difference between the mini shock and Fox’s full size shock is that the mini shocks do not have an Evol chamber. The long travel package also gives the option of a rear shock, which is a mini Podium X standard coil that is identical to the full size shock.

Fox’s standard mini shock package is a basic Float shock that features an adjustable air spring and weighs in at just 2 pounds. The factory replacement rear shock will be a basic air shock as well. “The mini’s are so limited in the power that they produce so we wanted to keep the shocks as lightweight as possible.” Said Duessell.

The shock packages should be available by sometime in late November with delivery by Christmas. The shocks are only available for the DRR quads at this point but will soon be available for the Apex quads as well. Fox plans to expand their line to include suspension packages for just about every make and model of mini quad in the near future.
