Chris Bithell Second at GNCC Opener

Bunnell, FL (3/11/2014) - Chris Bithell put on a phenomenal showing at the Grand National Cross Country season opener in Bunnell, Florida, leading almost the entire race. Bithell used his Precision / Maxxis Tires backed Suzuki to earn the second spot at the Mud Mucker.

Bithell put his number four Suzuki out front early on the first lap. Once in the lead, he set a quick pace through the muddy track with a quick lap time of 22:25.01. He continued his lead into the second lap with just a few seconds between him and second position.
“I was having a blast out there. The track was a wreck, nothing like typical Florida track, but we were battling and having fun. My Reliable Tool Supply Suzuki worked awesome. My Precision stabilizer worked great and my Maxxis Tires hooked up everywhere, even with the slick mud,” regarded Bithell.
Bithell continued to hold the lead through laps three and four. On lap five, he began to battle with second position, swapping back and forth for the final few miles of the race. He ended up finishing in second place just 01.531 seconds off the leader.

Chris Bithell will be back aboard his Precision / Maxxis Tires back machine at round two of the Grand National Cross Country Series. The General GNCC will take place Saturday March 15 at Anoia Pass in Washington, Georgia.
