Bakersfield, CA (4/1/2009) - ITP-
Rnd #1- Glen Helen
The first round of ITP went
well for H&M Motorsports in Glen Helen
earlier this month. Davi Haagsma who rode
Open Pro had over 20 riders to compete against,
therefor causing qualifying for the second
moto. Davi pulled from 15th to 6th place in
moto 1, which put him into the second moto.
In the second moto, Davi didn’t pull
the best of starts, but started a pace to
finish an impressive 7th in his ITP Open Pro
debut.
Justin Klinger who rode in the 450 Novice
class had a great day for his Kawasaki debut.
Justin took a mid pack finish in moto 1 and
a very respectable 3rd in Moto 2 for the final.

WORCS- Rnd #3- Lake Havasu
Round 3 of the 2009 WORCS Racing
series went well for H&M as well. After
a horrible Pro-Am start, H&M’s Haagsma
was able to chase down and secure a 2nd place
Pro-AM finish from a dead last start, which
is phenomenal for Lake Havasu. Haagsma was
also the only Pro-Am rider hitting the lagoon
jump and at one point was posting 4th fastest
O/A lap times.
“We had an internal problem with the
kill switch on the quad at the start of the
race. “We were pretty bummed, but Davi
battled back to a second overall. The suspension
testing with Roll Design and Elka really made
a difference. Davi did an outstanding job
and everybody is stoked with him.” Allan
McCostlin of H&M Motorsports.
Justin Klinger checked out and won his WORCS
Lake Havasu entry in the steamed Production
B class. Klinger’s ability to transition
to the big class is continuing to show with
great results in both west coast series. (WORCS
& ITP)
