Bakersfield, CA (3/27/2013) - Beau Baron clicked off his second win of the Rocky Mountain ATV MC WORCS season at Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. David Haagsma took second overall right behind his teammate. Haagsma also raced his Polaris RZR to a class win the SxS Production 700 class.

The sixteen lap race was ruled by the defending champion Beau Baron. Baron got off the line in good position and quickly began to battle with two other racers. Baron chose smart lines and pushed hard; his hard charge resulted in him taking over the lead by lap two.

Once Baron took the lead, he proceeded to gap the field each lap. Baron jumped the famed lagoon jump each lap, which pushed him further ahead of the competition. He was the only pro racer to conquer the jump each time around. Baron clocked his fastest lap time on lap five, an impressive 06:19.808.

“Everything was working great. My Maxxis Tires, my Elka Suspension and Roll Design, everything worked together perfectly,” said Baron of his set up.

Baron crossed the finish line 1:23.979 in front of second position. “It was gnarly out there. I had an awesome combination with my Maxxis Tires and Tireblocks,” regarded Baron after the race. Baron currently holds the points lead in the Pro ATV Class.

“Everything worked very well. We did a lot of testing with Impact Solutions and my Honda was flawless,” said Haagsma of his race.

Haagsma also made the podium on his H&M Motorsports / Holz Racing Polaris RZR. He grabbed the holeshot in the Production 700 class and he quickly got into a battle with a fellow racer. The pair worked through the track and quickly passed the 800 class.
