Lawrence, KS (3/4/2008) - The
2008 Can-Am GNCC series kicked off at the
Triton in Melbourne, FL with Team HiPer controlling
the day. HiPer’s legendary Tech 3 racing
wheels provided an astonishing amount of top
place finishes.
In the women’s division, the top three
finishers, Angel Atwell, Traci Cecco, and
Jennifer Albright were all riding on HiPer’s
light weight, durable Tech 3 wheels. With
Stephanie Verkade taking fifth place and Lexie
Coulter finishing the day in tenth place,
HiPer had five top ten riders in the women’s
division.
The most notable class win for Team HiPer
was in the men’s XC1 Pro class. Chris
Borich led the team with a first place finish,
followed by Bryan Cook, and Bill Ballance.
In addition to the top podium finishers, Team
HiPer had five more sponsored riders place
in the top ten.
The opening race was a great accomplishment
for Team HiPer and is only the beginning of
what to expect from HiPer riders in 2008.
This will be an exciting season for HiPer
Technology and their sponsored riders.
