Lawrence, KS (5/16/2008) - The
2008 GNCC series has started out with a bang
for Team HiPer. The company sponsored riders
in both the Men's and Women's class are holding
strong in the top four places in overall point
standings. HiPer Technology looks forward
to seeing their riders continue to rule the
podium in the second half of the GNCC season.
In the men's XC class, KTM factory rider
Adam McGill is leading the pack with three
wins in 2008. Reigning 2007 champion Bill
Ballance is currently in second place battling
for his ninth championship, while Bryan Cook
and Chris Borich are competing for third place
in overall point standings. There is no telling
which rider will prevail at the end of the
2008 season, but one things for sure, HiPer
wheels will be what the they're ridding to
first place on.
There is a close clash among the top four
point leaders in the Women's class, with a
mere ten points separating first place from
forth place. Traci Cecco is defending her
2007 championship season currently leading
the women class, while 2007 runner up Angel
Atwell seeks revenge in 2008. Lexie Coulter
and Stephanie Verkade are fighting it out
for points in third and forth place.
