Jeffrey Rastrelli Earns Season Best Finish in Pro ATV Class

JB Racing's Duck Lloyd placed third in the Pro-Am Class & he also earned his fifth win in the Junior 25+ Class

Walnut, IL (6/11/2013) – Rain and muddy conditions greeted the JB Racing / Cheerwine Team at the sixth round of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV MX National Championship Series.  The team rallied, despite the undesirable conditions and earned many top finishes throughout the weekend.

Duck Lloyd put on a great showing at the round by earning third in the Pro Am class and taking his fifth win in the Junior 25+ class. Lloyd scored 3-4 in the Pro Am motos and put himself on the podium for the third time this year. Lloyd’s consistent finishes have him ranked second in the Pro Am point’s chase.  His success has also boiled over in the Junior 25+ Class where he has a 38 point lead over second place in the point’s standings.

“I had a really good weekend at Birch Creek; despite all the rain I won Junior A and made the podium in Pro Am. I can’t thank everyone enough who supports me and the JB Team,” said Lloyd.

Jeff Rastrelli earned his best finish of the season aboard his JB Racing Can-Am. Rastrelli went 7-8 to earn seventh overall. He had a good battle and rode consistently in moto one, but had his work cut out for him in moto two. He wrecked near the beginning of lap one and had to battle from sixteenth place back to eighth. His hard work has him ranked ninth in the AMA Pro Class.

“My Can-Am gets better every race and it really worked awesome both motos. My ITPs hooked up awesome in the slop and the quad handled amazing,” regarded Rastrelli after the race.

The JB Racing Team experienced a lot of success in the youth ranks as well at Birch Creek. Maddison Guyer earned her fourth win in the Girls class and further extended her points lead. She also remains the highest ranked girl in the Schoolboy Jr. Class; she is ranked third after her sixth place finish at round six.
Brogan Guyer earned his third win in the 90 CTV class. He is currently ranked third, just three points behind the class leader.  Guyer also earned sixth in both the 90 Open Class and the 90 Automatic Sr. Class.

Blake Sarver took a second and fourth at round six. He earned second in the Schoolboy Jr. class where he holds a 46 point lead. Sarver also placed fourth in the Schoolboy Sr. class and is currently ranked fifth in the points chase.

Grayson Eller, #171, put in several good motos and placed fifth in the Schoolboy Jr. Class, seventh in the 90 Open Class and seventh in the Super-Mini Class. Eller is currently ranked fifth in Schoolboy Jr. and fourth in the 90 Open.

Tyler Peters earned eighth in the Schoolboy Jr. Class where he currently holds seventh in points. He also put in solid laps to earn fifth in the 90 Open Class where he is ranked fifth. Peters and the rest of the JB Racing / Cheerwine Team have put in a solid first half of the season and it will be exciting to see where they finish up.

The JB Racing / Cheerwine team will return to the gate on July 6th in Delmont, PA at Steel City. The team has only four races left to battle for their respected championships and racing action is sure to get tense as the final rounds approach.
