Tim Farr and passenger, Julie Farr, put on a commanding performance with their JB Off-Road Can-Am Maverick. The number 41 Maverick was in fifth position heading into the woods. The Farr’s didn’t let that deter them and continentally drove smart over the rough terrain. Farr was in fourth through scoring on lap one.
“I didn’t get the best holeshot, but didn’t waste any time and worked my way into second on lap two. I was able to hold the position until the finish. I tried to catch the leader, but we got separated in a bottle neck and I just couldn’t get them in my sight,” regarded Tim Farr about his race.

The second place finish put the JB Off-Road drivers in great position for the championship as the season gets underway.

“I am so excited to be a part of the JB Off-Road / Can-Am Team again. My Can-Am Maverick worked flawlessly in the opening round. It handled the demanding track conditions amazingly and I couldn’t be happier with how our season started,” said Farr.

Larry Hendershot Jr. piloted the number 44 Can-Am Maverick for the JB Off-Road Team. He, along with his father Larry Hendershot Sr. had a great race going until an unforeseen issue took them out of the race. The Hendershot’s were in sixth place at the end of lap one, and they were running in the top five when a wheel bearing issue sidelined them. They ended up with the 12th place finish.

“The first round didn’t go quite as planned. Everything was working well, and then that bearing went which put us out of the race. Despite the mishap, I am very excited to be a part of the JB Off-Road / Can-Am team. We have a really good program going for this season and I am looking forward to the next round,” regarded Hendershot Sr. after the race.
