Production A
It was a really cold morning at Primm. My race was at 9:3 in the morning and by this time the sun was barely starting to warm up the place to where we didn’t have to wear a sweater anymore. We were setting up my JRi shocks just perfect for the weekend. Tony and Dave from the JRi crew are just amazing guys. They know there stuff and get it done. As we were done getting it done I went up to the starting line. I had a really good gate pick for the race. It was a straight shot to the corner. As we were on the line with 4 minutes left till the race would start and I noticed that my tie-rods were loose and I had my dad get me a wrench. Time was a big factor at this round because Homer had just put up the one minute warning. My dad still didn’t show up.

As there was 30 seconds left, my dad showed up and we tightened them. The green flag flew up in the air and we all took off. I had the perfect line but another rider beat me to the inside and took it from me, but I still got second off the start. I was confident about this race. I was behind first for a lap looking for any mistakes. As the half of the second lap came up, he mis-shifted in a straight away and I had momentum and passed him for first. After I took over first I put my head down and charged for the remaining time of the race. As I crossed the finish line I had won my class by 33.8 seconds. I felt great thanks to my JRi shocks and Goldspeed tires that made the terrain and everything easy and much smoother. Couldn’t be any happier in how I finished thanks to all my sponsors for my finish in the Production A Class.

Pro-am
Woke up to a beautiful morning, fresh air, warmer than Saturday and just overall a perfect day to race. Today our race was at 11:40 with a mandatory riders meeting at 10:00 AM. Tony and I were going over the shocks just in case everything was perfect. Bike was ready, I felt great, and the weather was just amazing. I knew this race was mine. As 11:00 AM was right around the corner, I was ready and riding my bike. PUMPED!

I knew this track was a piece of cake for my Lonestar,JRI, Goldspeed racing bike. It can handle anything. This is the first ever time we get to do a parade lap. It was actually really cool. We all went back to staging and went back into formation. As it was our turn to go we shut off all out engines. (Dead engine start). Homer was giving us the stink eye and BOOM the flag went up. Bike stared first kick thanks to Rob at Golden Motorsports for my amazing motors. Took off in second right behind first.

My strategy was the same from Saturday, stay behind him till he makes a mistake. Well I was wrong. He never made mistake and little by little he pulled away from me. As the hour mark hit I was still in second a little behind first and had to pit. I pitted, rested, and got my energy drink and pushed it for the next three laps that came. My JRi shocks were working amazing. Not even a single fade. As the last lap came up I was with relief. I had a minute lead on third and was securing second for sure, but this last lap was horrible. Also every other corner my seat would come off. So every time that happened I had to stop and put it back on. Every time I did that, it was about 10-15 seconds.

Finally I just didn’t care about my seat because third was extremely close to me, so I told myself to put my head down and charge and if the seat falls of, it falls off. I crossed the finish line in second. We had an amazing weekend thanks to the JRi crew Tony and Dave. And the great of Lonestar, Goldspeed and JRI. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend because I did great and I’ll be even more ready for Havasu.
