AMA MAXC Racing Series Heads to Paragon, IN for Season Finale

Paragon, IN (11/1/2013) – The AMA MAXC Racing Series will head to Paragon, IN this Saturday November 2, 2013. Round 10 will be hosted at Cordell Creek, which is a new location for the AMA MAXC Racing Series. Located just 20 minutes down the road from the Rally in the Valley MAXC, Cordell Creek offers just about everything you could ask for at an XC race.

There are lots of rolling hills, elevation changes, creek runs, a fun half mile grass track section with several natural terrain jumps, a few pro hill climbs and there is plenty of grass parking. This should be another great race for spectators to watch the racing action unfold as the season draws to a close.

Although the track did receive some rain on Thursday, the weatherman is calling for clear skies both Friday and Saturday. Click HERE to see the current weather conditions. This new track should be in peak physical condition just in time for racers to wrap up an exciting cross-country racing season.

Racers can still preregister online to save time waiting in line at the race by visiting http://themaxc.com/2013/10/22/round-10-preregistration/. Preregistration will close on Friday November 1st at 6 pm. Racers will still be able to register at the race Saturday before their race starts.

The Youth Bike Class is set to kick off the event Saturday morning at 8 a.m. followed by Youth ATV Class at 9:15 a.m., and the Peewee Class at 10:15 a.m. The adult classes will start with the Adult Bike class leaving the starting line around 11:30 a.m. and the Adult ATV Class at 2:30 p.m.

Although the 2013 AMA MAXC Racing Season will come to a close this weekend, there will be MAXC team race on November 9, 2013. This will be a non-points race and will be hosted as a “family fun event”. There will be a big pitch-in lunch so bring a dish and participate in this fun event!
