Hurricane Mills, TN (8/27/2009)
                                - The Can-AM/Motowork's East coast MX team traveled
back to the epic Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch
to take part in the final round of 2009 ITP/Moose
Racing AMA-ATV Motocross Nationals. Riders Jeremy
Lawson & Brandon Smith would battle the hot
summer heat and track conditions to cap off the
first year for the Motoworks MX team. Smith rode
consistent as he posted a 12-6 for 9th O/A on
the weekend. Meanwhile teammate Lawson ran into
a few problems where he managed to salvage a 18-17
for 18th O/A. The Motoworks team finished out
the season gaining much needed experience and
most of all respect in this highly competitive
East Coast series. The team did a fantastic job
on management and strategically making a huge
effort on both the west coast and east coast in
2009. Look for Motoworks to come out swinging
next year in the AMA-ATV MX series and bringing
with them a whole new game plan. Motoworks would
like to thank their entire sponsor line-up, friends,
family and fans of the sport for this year.

“We had a really good year, for being
our first. We have a great group of guys, and
from the ladies in the office, to the folks
behind the scenes at the shop to Brandon &
Jeremy, everyone works hard and in the end that
is what matters. That hard work will pay off
and Johnny and I are already looking ahead and
getting a jump on 2010. I just want to thank
Johnny for assembling a great team and sticking
behind us through everything.” Ty Zimmerman
