2007 MSR/Pro Taper/Suzuki/Yoshimura ATV Race Team
::Continued::

Jeremiah Jones & Robert McClure
During the testing, Jeremiah Jones was trackside watching Gust and Wimmer as they slammed out laps looking for problems with their setup and providing line suggestions. It was obvious that Jeremiah was embracing his new role with the team, and he will be a huge asset to the team in 2007. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any significant improvement in his condition since being paralyzed, but he has gained some limited muscle control below his waist after months of physical therapy, and he remains positive about his future especially since he may be back on the track again in 2007 in the WPSA Series. Jeremiah lives and breaths racing, and he may be back in action again on a Yamaha Rhino in the side by side competition. He is taking this opportunity seriously, so he has built himself a practice track back home in Kentucky. Nothing has been finalized yet, but if everything comes together, I expect to see Jeremiah at the front of the pack.

Steve Johnson, COO of Tucker Rocky expressed his excitement about being involved with ATV Racing
The next evening, the media was officially introduced to the 2007 race team and the new sponsors at Yoshimura headquarters in Chino, California, and Team Manager, Pat Alexander, introduced the 2007 MSR/Pro Taper/Yoshimura/Suzuki ATV Race Team and sponsors to the media. Pat Alexander replaces Hinson Racing’s Wayne Hinson as Team Manager, which was actually the only bad news announced at team intro because Wayne has been heavily involved with ATV racing since wrenching for Gary Denton and inception of Suzuki race team efforts, and he his been extremely influential in the success of the team and the growth of ATV racing over the years. After years of traveling to races around the country, Wayne has decided it is time to step back and spend more time at home with his grandchildren, but all his “adopted” children (racers) at the track will surely miss seeing him trackside at practically every round.

Kory Ellis has also joined started a new job with Yoshimura as ATV Brand Manager, and he will be competing in the ITP Quadcross and select WPSA events

The Suzuki pits surely won't be the same with out John Lawson and Wayne Hinson, and John will surely be watching from the clouds and in the hearts of anyone that had the pleasure to know him
Besides the addition of MSR and Pro Taper, the team also announced the addition of Maxxis as the tire sponsor for 2007. Also, Pro Aluminum, CV4, and several other new additions to the team make for yet another exciting year for Suzuki/Yoshimura’s ATV racing efforts.

In preparation for the 2007 WPSA Series, the MSR/Pro Taper/Yoshimura/Suzuki ATV Race Team will be heading to Alabama on March 10-11th for the opening round of the ATVA Motocross Nationals at Mill Creek in Pell City, AL, which will should attract a huge turnout of racers regardless if they plan on switching to the WPSA Series later in the year. The opening round of the ATVA MX Nationals will quickly show who has been training over the winter and who to watch for 2007, and newly expanded Suzuki/Yoshimura team feels confident they have what it takes to give the rest of the field a run for the money.
