NEATV-MX Bonus Contingency
Money to be offered at Unadilla
for the 2007 ITP/Moose Racing ATVA Motocross
Series
New Berlin, NY (7/24/2007)
- As an added bonus to the second-to-last
Round 11 of the 2007 ITP/Moose Racing ATVA MX Series
at Unadilla Valley Sports, each member of the New
England ATV Tour (NEATV) who finishes in the top three
will earn contingency money from NEATV at the Can-Am
Northeastern ATV National Presented by Renegade.
As President of the NEATV, Howard Payne
supports the idea of bringing NEATV members to Unadilla.
"The main reason for the contingency
is Unadilla is the closest national to us, and we
normally have a few riders that race it," Payne
said. "We handed out close to $2,000 in contingency
last year."
Every class will be eligible for the
contingency. First place overall will receive $50.00,
second place wins $30.00 and third place gets $25.00.
"I have always worked with the
AMA Nationals and would like to see this be the biggest
of the season to show our support," Payne said.
"I figured doing this contingency would bring
more of our riders to the event, and they always place
very well in all classes."
"Our series averages over 400 riders
at all of the events, and we do a 13-race series tour
throughout the Northeast," Payne continued. "You
can check out our website at www.neatv-mx.com,
and we have a forum on there as well. We will be also
hosting the 6-hour race in New York on August 11."
The ITP/Moose AMA Pro ATV National Championship
presented by Parts Unlimited continues with the Can-Am
Northeastern ATV National presented by Renegade at
the Unadilla Valley Sports Center on July 28-29 in
New Berlin, New York, and concludes with the Final
ATV Dirt Days at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane
Mills, Tennessee on August 11-12.
