Council (NOHVCC) has partnered with the Marshall
Community & Technical College (MCTC), a Marshall
University affiliate. This partnership will allow
us to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU)
for the OHV Land Advocacy webinar series. MCTC's CEU program requires 10 contact hours
for each CEU. The full series meets the requirements
for 1 CEU. To make things easy for you, MCTC has
packaged the full session and will process the
certification for the package of all 4 sessions
for an administrative fee of only $10.00 If you
need the CEU prior to the completion of all sessions,
you may apply for the partial CEU for each session
attended. The MCTC administration fee for each
session is $5.00. To sign up for the CEUs, go to the MCTC
website and add the NOHVCC sessions into your
cart. MCTC will process the application and send
you the appropriate certificates for the sessions.
While you are at it, check out the other CEU

completed one or more of the 4 separate modules
in the series, you may sign up for the fall dates
                                on our webinar

Module 2 Trail System Planning Part 1
(3 hours) This module will help riders' and land managers
understand how to plan, design, manage, and maintain
trail systems that meet the riders' needs by providing
high quality and adequate quantities of trails.
The module will start with an introduction to
OHV recreationists as it is hard to plan a trail
to fit their needs if you don't know what their
needs are. It will then talk about the basic principles
of OHV trail system planning before going into
details on what is required to plan a sustainable
                                trail system.

their needs and give the recreationists information
regarding how they can assist the land managers
                                with these trail requirements.

be effective in their efforts to influence the

planning, and implementation of the principles
conveyed in earlier modules have worked to create
