Polaris Announces 2007 Factory Racing Sponsorships
Outlaw 525 will strut its stuff with new pro riders and new series

Minneapolis, MN (3/09/2007) - Polaris Industries today announced its 2007 ATV racing sponsorships, the continuation of industry's largest ATV contingency program for Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) ATV classes, and the continuation of a contingency offering for three races in SCORE International's Off-Road Racing Series.

Along with the recent announcement of Doug Eichner in WORCS, other new Polaris racing team members for 2007 are GNCC Pro Bryan Baker and Pro Jeff Hancock for SCORE International and Best in the Desert. Returning racers include GNCC Women Racer Stephanie Parton, Super Senior John Gallagher and the Wilson Racing Team. Most riders will race the new Outlaw 525, the fastest accelerating stock quad that couples independent rear suspension (PRO-IRS) with KTM's famous 525 engine.

"Polaris is excited about our ATV racing program for 2007 and our ongoing commitment to the high performance ATV market," said Jeff LeFever, marketing manager for the ATV Division at Polaris. "Last year we set out to show IRS had a place in off road racing, this year we are taking it a step further by showing the versatility and toughness of the quad on both the cross country trails and in the sand."

GNCC Racing Sponsorships
Top-Ten, Pro Racer Bryan Baker joins the Polaris Roster in 2007. Baker finished eighth in the 2006 meet and has finished in the top 10 most of his GNCC career. Baker's riding style complements the Outlaw 525 and he should be a force to reckon with in the series.

#205 John Gallagher
#203 Stephanie Parton

Polaris re-signed Stephanie Parton for a second year aboard an Outlaw. Parton finished third in the Women's class for 2006, hitting the podium 10 out of 13 meets. With the addition of the Outlaw 525, the 2007 Women's meet should be lively with fast laps and tight finishes.

Polaris also re-signed "Super Senior (50+)" Racer John Gallagher and again will sponsor the Wilson Racing Team. Gallagher finished on top of his class in the 2006 meet with nine firsts, one second and one third. Wilson Racing consists of "4-Stroke A" Racer Mike Sroka, "XC2 Pro Am" Racer Frank Grimplin, "XC2 Pro Am" Racer Billy Good and "Youth" Racer Jerry Welch, who will race a Youth Outlaw 90.

The first race of the 2006 GNCC series is The Triton, March 3-6, in Vero Beach, Fla.

SCORE International/Best in the Desert Racing
In 2006, the Outlaw 500 established that it was a competitive off-road
trail racing bike; this year, its big brother, the Outlaw 525, intends
to show its no slouch in the desert. Polaris has signed Pro Jeff Hancock
to race the Outlaw 525 in SCORE and the Best in the Desert Racing
Series. Hancock finished third in Class 25 for SCORE in 2006 and will
race PRO ATV with the Outlaw 525. For Best in the Desert, Hancock will
race PRO QUAD.

Contingency Programs
For the 2007 racing season, Polaris will, once again, offer a contingency program for the SCORE International Racing Series. The company is offering the following contingencies for three SCORE races:

The potential pay out for GNCC is more than $260,000 across all GNCC ATV classes, including the class champion. The maximum per race pay out is $2000 for the Pro class. Polaris currently is the only manufacturer offering a contingency program for the Youth circuit.
