ATVs, They're Not Just for Boys Anymore
Polaris Introduces Youth Quads Designed for Girls
|
Limited
Edition Pink Predator 90 |
Minneapolis, MN (9/12/06) -Pretty
in pink has a whole different meaning these days. Walk
into an ATV dealership or open any ATV-related publication
and you'll see an increasing amount of riding gear for
women and girls.
Polaris research has shown about one-third of the youth
ATVs they manufacture are ridden by girls. As part of
the increased interest, the company is coupling the
best-selling line of youth ATVs and its entry-level
Phoenix model with this latest trend to be the first
major ATV manufacturer to offer ATVs geared specifically
for girls. The "Pink Power," limited-edition
models are available for the Predator 50, Predator 90
and Phoenix 200.

The "Pink Power" youth models offer all the
popular features that made the Polaris youth line the
top choice for young riders, including electric start,
automatic transmission, reverse and parental controls,
with the addition of a pink personality girls can call
their very own. Youth models also come with a matching
helmet so girls can ride in style.
For girls16 and older, the "Pink Power" Phoenix
adds a feminine touch to the easy-to-use and fun-to-ride
Phoenix.
"Pink Power" models will be available at
Polaris dealerships starting in October, just in time
for the holidays.
