Tempe, AZ (10/23/2014) - Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock ended his season on a high note as he finished the final round of the 2014 WORCS series on the Pro-am ATV podium, Open A podium, and the SXS 1000 class podium.

Buffalo Bill's in Primm, NV was the hosting facility for the final round of the 2014 WORCS season. Weather conditions were good, but the sandy track broke down quickly and became very rough, especially for Sunday's Pro-am race, but that didn't stop Matt Hancock from charging his way to the podium.

Hancock was in the top five off the start and worked his way into fourth by the second lap. In the final lap, Hancock inherited third place and held that position all the way to the checkered flag. Hancock has had a solid season in the Pro-am class with seven podium finishes, which put him in second in championship points. “It's been a great season. I can't thank my sponsors enough for all their support. I am looking forward to coming back next year and winning that championship,” said Hancock.

In the Open A class, Hancock got out to an early lead, but fell back to second at the midway point. Hancock rode a solid race, but was unable to reclaim the lead and finished in second place. Hancock claimed eight podium finishes in the Open A class this season and finished second in series points in that class as well.

For the final round of the season, all of the SXS classes raced at the same time, which made for a very crowded track with over 60 UTV's. Despite the change in format, Matt Hancock had a great start and grabbed the holeshot. “My Sparks motor and my Maxxis tires hooked up and I had a great start, but there was this one corner that was really slick and I went wide and that sent me back to second. There was so much traffic and lappers, it was really hard to close back in. I was hoping for a win today, but I ended up with second and that also gave me second in points,” explained Hancock.

“This has been a great season for me; really an adventure. My Walker Evans shocks and Tire Blocks really helped me out this year on the SxS. We have everything dialed in and now I am already excited for next year and getting another shot at the championship,” added Hancock.

The first round of the 2015 WORCS series kicks off on January 16-18th at Honolulu Hills in Taft, CA where Matt Hancock is looking to make a statement and start his season off on top of the podium.
