Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico (11/22/2008)
– Honda TRX700XX mounted (Wayne
Matlock, Harold Goodman, Marc Speath, Wes Miller)
returns to the BAJA 1000 winners circle after another
incredible race to the finish against the defending
champions (Danny Prather, Mike Cafro, Chad Prull,
Levi Marana) finishing less than 9 minutes behind
the leaders after traveling over 631 miles.
Wayne Matlock’s team crossed the finish
line after 14:47:25 hours of racing to secure
the first major win for the Honda TRX700XX as
Honda continues to dominate one of the toughest
races in the world.
Also, in Class 24, (Craig Christy, Dave Scott,
Steve Abrego, Jeremy Sanchez, Jason Wade) claimed
the win and finished an impressive 5th Overall
among ATV race teams followed by the East Coast
team of (Tom Wright, Andy Lagzdins, Jim Stack).
Bi-Polar Racing's Jim Creagan
& Chris Fallon made history by finishing the
BAJA 1000 in the Arctic Cat Prowler to claim the
victory, which has never been done before 2008
in a UTV.

once all the racers return home within a few days.
