STI Outback Max Mud Tire Line
8 Ply Rated STI Outback MAX Mud Tire

Yorba Linda, Calif. (4/7/2014) - Unveiled at the recent Mud Nationals, the new STI Outback Max tire line is a powerful expansion of the Outback tire lineup, delivering measurable performance gains over existing mud tires. The new Outback Max tires are available in three sizes: 30/10-14; 31/10-15; 32/10-17.

The STI Outback Max tires come in three different sizes

In all three true-to-measure sizes, the STI Outback Max uses an 8-ply rated carcass that allows low-psi operation, superior flotation, and the durability riders demand, while keeping the weight competitive. The aggressive tread pattern features center lugs measuring 1.5 inches deep, with 2.0-inch deep lugs at the shoulders. These lugs are built with a stepped-base design that minimizes flex across the tire’s tread, maximizing traction and tire strength.

“We’ve engineered a better mud tire for today’s large-bore UTVs,” said STI’s Jamie Chisholm. “The market needed a tire that could handle the weight and horsepower of today’s high-performance UTVs. The Outback Max is designed to deliver superior traction in the sloppiest conditions, pulling hard through the mud and still offering a smooth ride on hard-packed terrain.”

The Outback Max tires complement STI’s line of Outback AT and XT tires, a multi-size lineup of all-conditions tires currently available in 25-inch up to 28-inch sizes.
