Suzuki Announces Gabiel Castillo as
ATV Public Relations / Sales Promotion Senior Specialist

Gabe Castillo
Brea, CA (4/24/2007) - Coming on the heels of Suzuki ATV Division's announcement of hiring Acorn Woods Communications as their PR firm, is the news that they have created a new full time in-house position of ATV Public Relations/Sales Promotion Senior Specialist. This new slot will be occupied by Gabriel Castillo who has moved up from within the Suzuki ranks.

Gabe has worked for Suzuki in their customer service department for the last three years. He came to the attention of Operations Manager Rod Lopusnak because of his easy-going, personable manner and get-it-done attitude – two qualities that they both share.

Prior to Suzuki, Gabe had a stint at Yoshimura, Pro Circuit and Race Tech Suspensions where he spent some time wrenching. He is no stranger to ATVs or motorcycles. His childhood was spent on dirt bikes and quads in the deserts of California and Mexico (he is bilingual in Spanish). Currently, he has traded up to a GSX-R750 that he rides to and from work as well as to college where he is finishing up a communications degree.

Gabe will be working directly for Rod Lopusnak in the Brea, CA office, assisting him in coordinating new product launches, media support and overseeing special promotions.

"I'm thrilled to have someone so eager and personable as our in-house ATV PR specialist," Lopusnak commented. "Suzuki is looking beyond just our immediate goals when it comes to public relations. We are constantly trying to better the sport as a whole – across OEM lines. By increasing our PR operations, we are taking a leadership role within the ATV community."
